Stuck for inspiration? How can you be when there are bookshelves full of it? I give you: bookshelf poetry!
Step 1: Find a bookshelf, any bookshelf.
Step 2: Rip a page or two from a notebook into rectangles.
Step 3: Fill those bits of paper with words from right in front of you! (There are methods of making this more randomised but personally, I just pick a selection of words that appeal)
Step 4: Assemble! Add some connectives and punctuation.
Step 5: You’re a poet! For your next poem, why not borrow some words from a bookshop, or a library?
